About Scouts Scouts are young people usually aged between ten and fourteen years old. They belong to the most well known Section in the Scouting family. Young people can join the Scout Section between nine years six months and ten years six months. They can move to the next Section, Explorers, between thirteen years and six months and fourteen years six months. Meeting Times 1st Trowbridge Scout Troop meet on Tuesdays from 7:30pm to 9pm
